OPTIMA universal electrosurgical platform for all specialities
OPTIMA from Lamidey Noury Medical is a complete 370 W electrosurgical unit designed to offer maximum versatility in modern operating theatres. Thanks to its latest-generation microprocessor, it automatically adjusts the energy according to tissue changes, ensuring optimal safety and efficiency. It is compatible with a wide range of procedures, from general surgery to endoscopy, urology, gynaecology, ENT and neurosurgery.
Power Feedback technology enables dynamic power regulation, ensuring precise cutting and controlled coagulation. The user interface is intuitive, with a 170.4 x 127.8 mm colour touch screen, making it easy to select modes and settings. OPTIMA offers more than 80 pre-installed programmes and allows more than 1,000 custom settings to be saved.
Technologies for optimal surgical performance
OPTIMA incorporates several innovative technologies that make it a benchmark in the field of electrosurgery:
- PLASMA™ EDGE: dedicated to bipolar resection under saline irrigation, ideal for TURP, TURB and TCRE procedures.
- THERMOCISION™: an all-in-one system for dissection, sealing and cutting tissue, particularly suitable for delicate procedures such as thyroidectomy.
- Argon Plasma Coagulation: available via an optional module, this technology enables contactless coagulation using an argon jet, ideal for liver and endoscopic surgery.
- THERMOCONTROL™: vascular sealing control system with audible validation signal and incident diagnosis.
There are numerous cutting and coagulation modes to suit every need: autocut, blend, endocut, sphincterocut, urocuts, hysterocut, soft coagulation, fulguration, desiccation, and more. The power can be adjusted in 1 W increments, with digital or percentage display depending on the mode.
Ergonomics, safety and instrument compatibility
OPTIMA is designed for optimal ergonomics. It has two monopolar and two bipolar outputs, compatible with international standard cables. Controls can be operated via single or double foot pedals, or by manual switches integrated into the instrument cables.
Safety is at the heart of the device: neutral electrode monitoring, power limitation for neonatal plates, automatic shutdown in case of HF overload, short-circuit protection, forced ventilation and self-check at start-up.
Recognition of vascular sealing instruments allows automatic power presetting, ensuring consistent efficiency. The instruments are fully reusable, removable and autoclavable, with options for open and laparoscopic surgery.
