Mitsubishi P91W: Thermal Precision for your Medical Video Prints
The Mitsubishi P91W is a medical video copier designed for printing still images from a video signal, particularly in clinical and hospital environments. This model has been specifically designed to meet the image quality, print speed and technical reliability requirements of healthcare professionals.
Compact (154 mm wide, 97 mm high and 300 mm deep) and lightweight (3.3 kg), the P91W fits easily on a workbench or in a medical imaging station configuration. It is compatible with composite video signals (via BNC connectors) and supports NTSC and PAL standards. Its resolution reaches 1022 x 500 lines in NTSC and 1022 x 600 in PAL, enabling clear and accurate reproduction of medical images.
Thanks to its thermal printing system using high-density paper (such as K65HM), the P91W prints images in 256 shades of grey, ensuring fine contrast reproduction. Its printing time is reduced to 4.7 seconds (NTSC) or 5.6 seconds (PAL), facilitating a smooth workflow in contexts requiring rapid capture. The device offers several customisation options: brightness and contrast adjustment via dedicated buttons, selection of six different gamma curves depending on the image type (video or ultrasound), choice of print size and memory storage of settings, even after the device is turned off.
Printing can be controlled directly from the front panel or via a wired remote control. An ABC (Automatic Brightness Control) function also allows the brightness of each image to be adjusted automatically at the time of printing.
For better media management, a "paper saving" mode is available. Paper loading is intuitive and secure thanks to a front cover, and sensors alert the user in case of overheating, jamming or paper shortage.
Designed for use in an electro-medical environment, the P91W complies with current electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards. It is designed for reference use in medical imaging, without direct diagnostic purposes.
