The PASCAL SD series of vacuum pumps developed by Pfeiffer Vacuum is designed to efficiently meet the most common requirements of industrial vacuum applications. Thanks to their two-stage lubricated rotary vane technology, these pumps offer an excellent compromise between reliability, performance and ease of use.
The SD series covers a wide range of pumping speeds, from 5 to 100 m³/h, and is available in several models suitable for both low and high flow rates. The small and medium capacity models (up to 21 m³/h) operate with optimised natural lubrication, ensuring minimal oil emissions at the exhaust, even during frequent cycles between atmospheric pressure and ultimate vacuum. For models with higher flow rates (from 33 m³/h), forced lubrication is integrated, ensuring constant efficiency and increased service life, regardless of operating conditions.
One of the strengths of this range is its anti-suckback system activated by the oil pump, which protects the entire vacuum system against air return in the event of an unexpected shutdown. This device, combined with a hermetic design with O-rings and an external shaft seal that can be replaced without complete disassembly, guarantees a high level of safety and simplified maintenance.
The PASCAL SD series is also designed for easy integration: its compact design, with the option of configuring the inlet and outlet ports in a vertical or horizontal position, facilitates installation even in confined spaces. All control and monitoring elements are accessible from the front, making maintenance operations quick and intuitive.
In terms of motorisation, models up to 21 m³/h can be equipped with single-phase or three-phase universal motors that comply with international standards (UL, CSA, CE). The more powerful versions (2033SD, 2063SD, 2100SD) are only available with robust three-phase motors, ensuring reliable operation even in intensive use.
Versatile and robust, the PASCAL SD series vacuum pumps are particularly suitable for a wide range of applications. To adapt the pump to specific environments or improve its performance, a complete range of accessories is available (mist filters, liquid nitrogen traps, sorption traps, maintenance kits, etc.). All pumps are ready for use with an initial mineral oil charge suitable for SD models.
