Datascope Passport XG patient monitor
The Datascope Passport XG is a multi-parameter monitor designed to provide comprehensive and reliable monitoring of patients' vital signs in a variety of clinical environments. Intended for healthcare professionals working in critical care settings such as intensive care, recovery rooms, operating theatres or emergency departments, this device stands out for its modularity, accuracy and ease of use.
The Passport XG supports a wide range of physiological parameters: electrocardiogram (ECG), oxygen saturation (SpO₂), non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), invasive blood pressure ( IBP), body temperature, respiratory rate, and expired CO₂ measurement (capnography), depending on the modules installed. It offers different measurement modes suitable for adults, children and newborns.
The device has a high-resolution colour screen that allows multiple curves and numerical values to be displayed simultaneously. The data is presented in a clear and intuitive manner, making it easy to read in real time. The structured user menu and physical key system allow for quick navigation, even in emergency situations. A silent mode and configurable alarm system ensure effective management of clinical alerts.
The monitor offers flexibility of use thanks to its numerous connection ports for probes and sensors, as well as its compatibility with optional modules such as the CO₂ sensor in mainstream or sidestream mode. It is also equipped for connection to a central station (Visa Central Station), enabling centralised management of multiple patients with functions such as admission, discharge, printing and remote alarm silencing.
Battery life (up to 2 hours) makes the Passport XG ideal for intra-hospital transport. Its integrated charging system, sealed lead-acid batteries and charge indicators ensure continuous availability. In addition, compliance with international medical standards (IEC, ISO, UL, CSA) attests to the safety and quality of the device's manufacture.
The Datascope Passport XG features trend memory, a recording mode (optional) and secure operation even in the event of electrosurgical interference, thanks to effective protection systems. This versatility, combined with robust hardware and user-friendly software, makes the Passport XG an indispensable tool for reliable and continuous physiological monitoring.
