Philips IntelliVue MMS X2 – Portable Patient Monitoring Solution
Philips IntelliVue MMS X2 redefines patient transport monitoring with its innovative design and advanced features. This compact and lightweight monitor, weighing only 1.2 kg, offers exceptional performance as both a measurement module and a transport monitor, ensuring seamless continuity of patient data across all hospital monitoring systems.
The IntelliVue MMS X2 stands out as one of the lightest, smallest, and most robust transport monitors available today. Its small size conceals its robust capabilities, including a high-definition 3.5" touchscreen, configurable SmartKeys, and electronic recording features. The durable design ensures reliable performance even in the most demanding clinical environments, making it an ideal choice for critical care transport.
Even when connected behind a host monitor, the IntelliVue MMS X2 remains a fully functional monitor. A single step transforms it into a transport monitor, maintaining data continuity and patient care quality during intra-hospital transfers. Its compatibility with IntelliVue bedside monitors allows for seamless integration into any patient monitoring setup, regardless of the location within the hospital.
The Philips X2/MP2 battery extension offers up to six additional hours of runtime, enabling extended intra-hospital transports. This extended battery life, combined with concurrent CO₂ measurement and additional invasive blood pressure and temperature monitoring, ensures comprehensive patient care during transfers.
The IntelliVue MMS X2 supports various imaging and monitoring modes, including 12-lead ECG (conventional and derived using the EASI™ or Hexad method), multi-lead arrhythmia analysis, ST segment analysis, mainstream or sidestream CO₂, invasive pressure, temperature, and multiple pulse oximetry options (Philips FAST SpO₂, Masimo® SET® SpO₂, Nellcor™ OxiMax™ SpO₂, and Masimo® rainbow® SET® SpO₂).
The IntelliVue MMS X2 facilitates efficient data transfer through both wired and wireless connections to the IntelliVue Information Center. Its clinical decision support systems assist healthcare teams by providing intelligent information review, enabling tasks that require cross-referencing, presentation, and analysis of clinical data.
The improved user interface of the IntelliVue MMS X2 enhances patient data visualization, ensuring compatibility with standard software and making it easy to use. The dynamic wave area automatically adjusts the size based on the number of configured waves, providing clear and concise data presentation.
Each NBP measurement generates a column in the vital signs trend table, with additional measurements added for a comprehensive dataset. This holistic approach provides a more complete picture of the patient’s condition, aiding in precise and timely clinical decisions.
The IntelliVue MMS X2 expands monitoring capabilities with wireless telemetry as a parameter, offering untethered in-room access to ECG/SpO₂ data in near-real time. This feature enhances patient mobility and ensures continuous monitoring even when the patient is on the move.
The Philips IntelliVue MMS X2 is a versatile, reliable, and advanced solution for transport patient monitoring, supporting clinicians in delivering high-quality care and ensuring data continuity during transport.
