PVM-2703 Monitor: Precise and Intuitive Surveillance
The Nihon Kohden PVM-2703 is a patient monitoring system designed for healthcare facilities, combining ergonomics, precision, and efficiency. It ensures real-time monitoring of hospitalized patients, particularly in intensive care units, critical care, or post-operative settings. Designed to provide clear and detailed displays of vital parameters, it facilitates early detection of physiological changes and enhances the responsiveness of medical staff.
Equipped with a 10.4-inch color LCD screen, the PVM-2703 displays up to five simultaneous waveform traces and features a fully touch-sensitive interface for intuitive navigation. Its compact design and 3.5 kg weight make it easily portable, with a battery life of 3 hours, ensuring continuous monitoring even during transport or power outages.
With its interbed connection system, multiple patients can be remotely monitored from a single station, displaying data from up to eight patients simultaneously or all parameters of a single patient. When an alarm is triggered on another connected monitor, the PVM-2703 immediately relays the alert, ensuring optimal responsiveness.
The PVM-2703 supports a wide range of parameters, including ECG (3 or 6 leads), respiratory rate, oxygen saturation (SpO₂), non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), body temperature, carbon dioxide measurement (CO₂), and invasive blood pressure (IBP). The integration of the Smart Cable allows for automatic detection of connected parameters, simplifying its use.
Data recording is a key feature of the PVM-2703. It offers 120 hours of storage capacity for trend history, arrhythmia analysis, and alarms, enabling in-depth tracking of patient status evolution. The full disclosure system allows for the review of recorded ECG traces or pulse curves at any time, facilitating the analysis of past events and refining diagnoses.
A major advantage of the PVM-2703 is its NIBP measurement system using PWTT (Pulse Wave Transit Time) technology, patented by Nihon Kohden, which improves the detection of sudden blood pressure variations. In case of detected anomalies, the monitor automatically triggers a new NIBP measurement, ensuring rapid and precise re-evaluation.
Arrhythmia analysis is also optimized with Nihon Kohden's ec1 algorithm, reducing false alerts by up to 80% and enhancing the reliability of cardiac diagnostics. Paired with the iNIBP function, which provides fast and painless blood pressure measurement during cuff inflation, this technology offers increased patient comfort while ensuring reliable results.
Compatible with various optional accessories, such as the WS-201P recording module, QI-202P and QI-201P network interfaces, and the ZS-900P transmitter, the PVM-2703 seamlessly integrates with hospital infrastructures and multi-patient monitoring networks.
The Nihon Kohden PVM-2703 is a high-performance monitoring system designed to meet the needs of demanding healthcare facilities. Its connectivity, in-depth analytical capabilities, and ease of use make it an indispensable tool for ensuring optimal patient care in medical settings.
