Description

Miele PG 8535 - A professional glassware washer for the most demanding laboratories

The Miele PG 8535 is a laboratory glassware washer designed to meet the complex and specialised needs of research, microbiology, biotechnology and analysis laboratories. It offers an automated cleaning solution for a wide range of glassware, from test tubes and narrow-necked bottles to pipettes and Petri dishes. One of the main advantages of the PG 8535 is its ability to deliver consistent, validated and reproducible cleaning results.

Its robust stainless steel construction, combined with an electrically lockable door system, ensures safe use, even in the presence of aggressive chemicals. The Profitronic electronic control system, accessible via different access levels (A to D), allows fine management of programmes according to user profiles: operators, administrators or technicians. A clear display and context-sensitive menu make the device easy to use and adapt to the specific requirements of the site or the type of glassware to be processed.

The PG 8535 features automatic recognition of mobile units via a magnetic strip, ensuring that the appropriate programme is launched as soon as loading is complete. Monitoring of the spray arms ensures optimal distribution of wash and rinse water , with verification of arm speed. An external documentation system via Ethernet port or printer interface allows complete traceability of the cleaning process, which is essential in regulated environments.

To maximise efficiency, the washer is equipped with several internal and external dosing systems, each colour-coded for detergent, neutraliser and disinfectants. Maintenance is facilitated by the accessibility of the filters, spray arms and HEPA drying system. In the event of thermal overload, a resettable heating limiter is provided for safety.

The unit is designed to operate with soft, hot or deionised water (pressure or reduced pressure), with specific pressure and temperature values. It can be used in environments with ambient temperatures from 5°C to 40°C and up to 80% relative humidity. Cleaning programmes include cycles for plastics, pipettes, inorganic or organic residues, as well as the removal of complex oils.

Finally, numerous accessories are available, such as baskets, inserts, mobile units with spray arms, injection hoses and HEPA filters. All are designed to optimise compatibility with the PG 8535 and ensure precise and safe cleaning.

The Miele PG 8535 embodies excellence in laboratory cleaning, combining technological innovation, proven performance and safety in use.
