The ideal solution for high-density storage in the laboratory – P-DW-11 96-well plates
The Axygen® P-DW-11 96-well deep well plates are an essential tool in biotechnology, pharmaceutical research and diagnostic laboratories. Designed by Corning Life Sciences to meet the most stringent sample handling requirements, these plates combine quality, durability and automated compatibility.
Made from virgin polypropylene, these plates guarantee high resistance to chemicals commonly used in laboratories, such as DMSO, organic solvents and acid and alkaline solutions. This material also gives the plate remarkable thermal stability, allowing long-term storage of samples at extreme temperatures down to -80°C.
Each well is round in shape to maximise liquid recovery, limit residues and facilitate volume transfers using automated or manual pipettes. The plate is moulded with an ultra-flat surface, ensuring a perfect seal with heat-sealable films or sealing mats, which is crucial for preventing evaporation or cross-contamination in high-throughput systems.
The plates are compatible with centrifuges up to 4,000 RCF, an essential feature for DNA, RNA or protein precipitation, purification or extraction protocols. Their format is fully compliant with ANSI/SLAS standards, making them directly adaptable to most pipetting robots and automated processing platforms, including high-throughput screening (HTS) and biobanking applications.
Available in two versions, the P-DW-11-C (non-sterile) and P-DW-11-C-S (sterile) models can be adapted to protocols requiring a sterile or non-sterile environment. These plates are supplied in packs of 5 units per package and 10 packages per carton for easy logistics management. They are free from RNase, DNase and human DNA and are non-pyrogenic, ensuring the integrity of even the most sensitive samples. Their transparency also allows for quick visual monitoring of the volume contained in each well.
