The Plum A+ is an infusion device developed by Pfizer (formerly Hospira), specifically designed to meet the dynamic needs of hospitals and other medical environments. In addition, titration and delayed start features enhance clinical flexibility.

It is equipped with upstream and downstream air detection sensors, an anti-free flow mechanism, and alarms for occlusion, low battery or technical failure. The system performs self-tests at each start-up to ensure proper operation. It also features a backlit LCD screen, a keypad lock system (code or switch), and an intuitive user interface that facilitates programming even in critical situations.
