Description

Plum XL Micro/Macro infusion pump – Precision and flexibility for your hospital infusions

The Plum XL Micro/Macro infusion pump is designed to meet the growing need for standardisation and safety in the intravenous and epidural administration of treatments. Combining precision, ergonomics and robustness, this medical device enables healthcare professionals to deliver reliable infusions for a variety of patients, whether in hospital, intensive care or outpatient settings.

Thanks to its dual line system (primary and secondary), the Plum XL Micro/Macro allows the simultaneous or sequential administration of multiple solutions, including conventional intravenous treatments, blood products or enteral solutions. This flexibility reduces the need to interrupt one infusion to start another, optimising treatment time and patient comfort.

Microprocessor-based volumetric control technology ensures a constant and accurate flow rate from 0.1 to 999 mL/h, minimising the risk of overdose or administration errors. The backlit LCD screen and Quickset™ programmable keys simplify configuration, allowing the flow rate or volume to be adjusted quickly. Features such as anti-free flow protection, safety lock and integrated occlusion alarm ensure safe use in critical environments.

The pump is mains powered and equipped with an internal rechargeable battery providing up to 8 hours of autonomy, allowing it to be used when the patient is being moved or in the event of a power failure. Designed in impact-resistant plastic, it meets hospital durability and hygiene requirements.

Compatible with standard and specialised LifeCare® PlumSets® administration sets and LifeShield® needle protection systems, the Plum XL Micro/Macro integrates easily into existing care protocols. Its multiple programming modes (primary, secondary, piggyback) and DataPort interface for remote monitoring make it a modern tool for centralised infusion management.
