The Reichert Model 30™ Pneumatonometer incorporates real-time digital mapping for a paperless experience. Combining the proven accuracy of the traditional tonometer with advanced features, this instrument offers fast, accurate measurement of intraocular pressure (IOP). Its intuitive touch interface, combined with innovative PC software, enables convenient data analysis, simplifying the workflow of eye care professionals. A reliable and sophisticated tool, the Model 30™ is state-of-the-art for accurate, error-free eye assessments.

Description

The Pneumatonometer Model 30™ - Tonometry incorporating real-time digital mapping.

This innovative instrument, produced by Reichert Technologies, combines the proven reliability of classic tonometers with advanced features to offer a complete and accurate experience in intraocular pressure (IOP) assessment.

A notable feature of this model is its pneumatic probe equipped with a tip that floats gently on a cushion of air, guaranteeing gentle contact with the anesthetized cornea. A precisely regulated flow of filtered air applies force to the tip, and a fenestrated membrane allows air to circulate, adapting to the shape of the cornea. This method guarantees reliable, precise measurements, minimizing the impact of corneal properties on results.

Ease of use is at the heart of the Model 30™'s design. Featuring a user-friendly, icon-based touch interface, even inexperienced users can perform measurements in seconds. The color screen guides the operator through the measurement process, clearly displaying readings. The optional addition of a foot switch, in combination with the tonography kit, further simplifies the measurement process.

The Model 30™ is not just a tonometer, but also a versatile instrument offering ocular pulse amplitude measurements. The optional tonography mode makes it possible to assess the aqueous flow efficiency of the trabecular meshwork, providing comprehensive information on ocular dynamics.

Recognized worldwide and preferred by many specialists and researchers, the Model 30™ is hailed for its measurements less affected by corneal properties, positioning it as a clinically reliable instrument. Research indicates that its use guarantees accurate IOP assessment, essential for the monitoring and treatment of ocular conditions.

Compact and powerful, the Model 30™ incorporates a durable air pump with a 3,000-hour service life, ensuring reliable long-term performance. The pneumatic probe offers an IOP measurement range from 5 to 80 mmHg, covering a wide range of clinical needs. Efficiency, simplicity and accuracy make the Model 30™ an essential tool for eye health professionals.
