The Nidek ARK-30 portable kerato-refractometer is a compact medical device, comparable in size and weight to a video camera. It provides exceptional portability for precise and rapid refraction measurements.
The Nidek ARK-30 portable kerato-refractometer features an Auto-Shot function that automatically detects eye centering (XY direction) and focusing (Z direction), triggering automatic measurement when the eye is in the optimal position. A focus indicator is displayed on the screen for focusing in the Z direction.
The AI mode makes high-precision measurements easier than ever.
Additionally, it automatically detects right/left eyes and prevents accidental omission of measurement of the other eye.
The accuracy and speed of measurements are guaranteed through a newly developed three-meridian phase difference measurement technique.
The rapid mode allows for quick measurements of children's and patients' eyes that frequently blink. Additionally, the IOL (intraocular) mode is automatically selected for measuring eyes with intraocular lenses after cataract surgery, minimizing potential errors.
Moreover, it can store measurement data for up to 30 individuals (60 eyes) in its main unit, with the ability to print this data later.
Infrared wireless communication links the main unit to the station printer, eliminating cumbersome cable connections.
The Nidek ARK-30 portable kerato-refractometer offers user-friendly operation with its 2.5-inch color LCD screen, enabling comfortable interaction between the physician and the patient.
It is powered by a fully charged high-performance lithium-ion battery, providing approximately 60 minutes of use.
The product also features a built-in stand to stabilize the device during alignment, and it automatically corrects the astigmatic axis by 90 degrees when the patient's eyes are measured in the lying position. An eye mask covers the unmeasured eye, allowing the patient to naturally focus on the subject eye.
