The PachPen - The handheld portable pachymeter for remarkable precision while being easy to use.
Its superior ergonomic design ensures optimal comfort during use.
A key feature of the PachPen is Accutome's digital analysis, which eliminates non-perpendicular measurements on the cornea, ensuring reliable and accurate results.
One notable advantage of the PachPen is its ability to record intraocular pressure (IOP) and provide corrected IOP based on corneal thickness measurements. The ergonomic design of the PachPen body, as well as sight lines on the body and tip, makes it easier to visualize the cornea, contributing to better centering and perpendicularity. The device also allows adjusting the sound velocity according to your preferences.
The PachPen displays the measured corneal thickness, entered IOP, corrected IOP, and the average of all stored measurements. It can automatically or manually capture up to nine measurements, with the current average of all measurements taken, which is useful for tracking changes over time.
The high accuracy of PachPen measurements is ensured by several factors, including real-time high-resolution analysis, fast scanning of over 4000 points per waveform of the signal, automatic gain control to obtain the optimal signal, a highly sensitive 10.5 MHz composite probe, and the analysis of twenty individual signals to produce each measurement.
The Accutome PachPen Pachymeter is a handheld, portable, and wireless instrument designed for convenient use. Its simple and user-friendly graphical user interface guides you through each operation, with easy access to all functions and screens. The device features a high-resolution multi-segment LCD screen, providing optimal visibility of the data. Additionally, its standard lithium battery allows for extended worry-free use.
