PRO7200B Hall 50: Modular surgical motor with dual trigger
The ConMed PRO7200B Hall 50™ is a battery-powered surgical motor designed to meet the demands of modern orthopaedic procedures. Thanks to its modular system and two independent triggers, it provides optimal control of drilling, screwdriving, tapping and oscillation functions. This device is particularly suitable for ligament reconstruction (ACL) and trauma procedures, where precision and responsiveness are essential.
The operating mode is based on a selection lever that allows you to switch between "drill/ream" and "screw/tap" modes. In drill mode, the lower trigger activates clockwise rotation, while the upper trigger allows counterclockwise rotation. Simultaneous activation of both triggers generates an oscillating movement, which is useful for certain specific applications. In screw mode, the lower trigger limits the torque to approximately 2.26 Nm to prevent damage to the implants, while the upper trigger provides unlimited torque for screw removal.
Ergonomic design and enhanced safety
The PRO7200B is designed for intuitive and safe use. Its mode lever has a "safe" position that deactivates the device when accessories are connected or removed, reducing the risk of injury or malfunction. The accessory locking system is simple: direct insertion is all that is required to secure them, while rotation of the collar allows them to be removed.
The PRO7200B's waterproof design (IPX6 and IPX8) guarantees protection against splashes and immersion, making cleaning and sterilisation easy. It is compatible with pre-vacuum or gravity steam sterilisation cycles, with validated parameters to ensure equipment and patient safety.
Technical performance and extended compatibility
The PRO7200B offers a maximum power of 0.37 hp (275 W) with the L3000LG battery (13.2 V), ensuring consistent performance even during prolonged procedures. It is compatible with a wide range of PowerPro™ accessories, including drills, reamers, sagittal and reciprocating saws, as well as screwdriving and tapping devices.
Weighing 739 g and with compact dimensions (16 cm x 10.4 cm), it is a manoeuvrable tool suitable for complex operating environments. The noise level of 80 dB remains within acceptable standards for prolonged use without hearing discomfort.
