IKA RC 5 control: a precise and flexible cooling solution for your applications
The RC 5 control from IKA has been designed to offer reliable cooling performance and flexibility of use in a variety of scientific and industrial environments. With a cooling capacity of 1400 W at 20 °C and a temperature range from -30 °C to ambient temperature, this device is capable of maintaining optimal thermal conditions, even during demanding processes. The speed-controlled PEEK pump allows continuous adjustment of flow rate and pressure, ensuring smooth circulation of the thermal fluid in the external circuit.
One of the distinctive features of this model is its WiCo wireless controller, which offers total freedom of use, allowing the unit to be controlled remotely for added convenience. In addition, the RC 5 control integrates sophisticated programming features such as 10 customisable temperature ramps with 10 steps each. These options allow complex processes to be automated and simplified, while ensuring constant accuracy thanks to the PT100 temperature sensor.
The insulated 7-litre tank guarantees prolonged use with minimal refilling, while the integrated hopper and drain valve facilitate safe handling of thermal fluids. A hose can be connected to empty the bath without direct contact with the liquid, reducing the risk to the user. Maintenance of the unit is also simplified thanks to the front cover, which can be opened to provide quick access to the air filter for efficient cleaning.
A large TFT display provides detailed information on temperature, fluid level, pump speed and safety parameters in real time. Visual and audible alarms immediately warn of temperature exceedances, low fluid levels or any other critical situations, ensuring a high level of operational safety.
With a compact design and moderate noise level of 61 dB(A), the RC 5 control fits easily into demanding work environments while maintaining a high level of acoustic comfort. Its numerous interfaces, including RS232, USB and Multi IO, allow for easy integration into automated systems and communication with other equipment.
