Offering an adjustable temperature range from -12°C to +60°C, it provides perfect control over experimental conditions, ensuring the stability required for incubation, cell culture, and the preservation of sensitive samples. Its compressor-based refrigeration system, using an environmentally friendly cryogen (CO2 - R744), guarantees optimized energy consumption while preventing sample desiccation.
The ICP260 stands out with its precise and intuitive control via the ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY, a digital PID microprocessor regulator that ensures efficient temperature management. This system is enhanced by two Pt100 thermosensors in 4-wire technology, which mutually monitor thermal conditions for unmatched reliability. With a display resolution of 0.1°C, this incubator allows for precise reading of set and actual temperatures, ensuring stable performance for critical applications.
Ergonomics and safety are priorities for Memmert. The ICP260 is equipped with a safety system, including a mechanical temperature limiter and visual and audible alarms in case of exceeding critical thresholds. It also integrates AutoSAFETY technology, which automatically monitors temperature deviations and protects samples from the risk of overheating or excessive cooling.
