A Refrigerated Incubator for Precise and Reliable Incubation
In research laboratories, precise temperature regulation is essential to ensure reliable and reproducible results. The KB 53 incubator from Binder is designed to meet these requirements, offering an extended temperature range from -5 °C to 100 °C. It is suitable for a wide variety of applications, ranging from microbiology to pharmaceutical and environmental testing.
Thanks to APT.line™ technology, temperature distribution within the incubator is perfectly homogeneous. This system ensures optimal thermal stability, even in the face of ambient temperature variations. Its compressor cooling unit provides precise control of low temperatures, eliminating any risk of fluctuations that could compromise the quality of stored samples.
The KB 53 stands out for its enhanced safety features. It is equipped with an independent Class 3.1 (DIN 12880) safety device, which triggers visual and audible alarms in case of abnormal thermal deviations. This mechanism ensures optimal protection of sensitive samples and minimizes risks associated with temperature variations.
Ergonomics and ease of use are also strong points of the KB 53. It features a programmable controller for real-time management of temperature cycles, as well as an elapsed time indicator for precise tracking of experiments. Its adjustable fan optimizes air circulation within the chamber for increased homogeneity.
The storage space is well-designed, with an internal volume of 53 L and height-adjustable stainless steel shelves for maximum adaptability. The inner door made of tempered glass allows easy monitoring of samples without disturbing internal conditions.
The KB 53 is designed for efficient and durable use, with optimized energy consumption at 215 Wh/h at 40 °C. It is also equipped with an RS 422 computer interface, facilitating its integration into laboratory data management and control systems.
