The CLARUS™ 500 - ultra wide-field imaging,
This device provides high-resolution images of the fundus with vivid natural colors. Its ability to capture detail, from the posterior pole to the periphery, enables precise differential diagnoses. Color fidelity plays a crucial role in ease of diagnosis, while the separation of red, green and blue light sources enhances visual contrast in different layers of the retina.
The fundus autofluorescence solution reveals lipofuscin in the retinal pigment epithelium, offering valuable insights into the state of the retina. Thanks to Zeiss optical precision, the CLARUS 500 captures high-resolution images down to 7 microns, enabling retinal changes to be tracked, compared and annotated. This versatile imaging system combines natural color and clarity in an ultra-wide field, providing extended vision and quality clinical results.
Patient ergonomics are optimized with an optical device that directs the patient's gaze, eliminating eyelid and eyelash interference and minimizing the need for recaptures. A minimum pupil diameter of 2.5 mm and a working distance of 25 mm ensure optimal image acquisition without compromising patient comfort.
