Olympus ENF TYPE P3: Enhanced Precision for Observation and Diagnosis
The Olympus ENF TYPE P3 is designed to deliver superior observation quality in the examination of nasal cavities, nasopharynx, larynx, and external ear. It features an optical system that significantly enhances the brightness and resolution of the images obtained. This increase of nearly 48% in brightness and 33% in resolution allows for clearer visualization of fine structures and abnormalities, thereby facilitating early detection of pathologies.
Its 85° field of view provides optimal coverage for examining all areas of interest, while its depth of field ranging from 5 to 50 mm allows for precise focusing at various distances. The flexibility of its tip, which can bend up to 130° upwards and downwards, ensures optimal maneuverability, enabling healthcare professionals to easily access hard-to-reach areas during examinations.
The insertion tube of the ENF TYPE P3 has an outer diameter of 3.6 mm, with the distal end being slightly finer at 3.4 mm, facilitating atraumatic insertion and improving patient comfort. Its working length of 255 mm allows for deep exploration while ensuring smooth and precise handling.
Illumination is provided by an integrated light guide system, ensuring uniform visibility of the examined area. The combination of these features makes the ENF TYPE P3 a high-performance instrument for use in ENT consultations, providing high-quality images for reliable and efficient diagnosis.
In addition to its optical performance, the ENF TYPE P3 is compatible with several documentation and image capture systems. It can be paired with an SLR camera SC35/OM-1N or the Olympus OES TV system OTV-S4, facilitating the archiving of observations and in-depth analysis of the obtained images. This functionality is particularly useful in monitoring pathologies and clinical teaching.
