Rotavapor® R-300: A Comprehensive Solution for Laboratory Evaporation
The Rotavapor® R-300 by Büchi is a rotary evaporator designed to provide optimal control over evaporation parameters in the laboratory. This versatile model adapts to both standard needs and more complex applications, thanks to its modular design and numerous customization options.
Its heating system is available in two versions: the B-301 bath, ideal for flasks up to 1 L and temperatures up to 95°C, and the B-305 bath, designed for larger capacity flasks (up to 5 L) with a maximum temperature of 220°C. This choice allows users to adapt to the specific needs of their samples and maximize the efficiency of the evaporation process.
Precise control of rotation speed (from 10 to 280 rpm) and heating temperature ensures reproducible evaporation, with immediate adjustment via an intuitive user interface. The lifting system, available in manual or electronic versions, ensures smooth and secure handling of the evaporation flask. The electronic version is equipped with a safety mechanism that automatically lifts the flask in case of a power outage, reducing the risk of sample overheating.
One of the strengths of the Rotavapor® R-300 is its modularity, which allows for the easy integration of additional accessories such as a V-300 vacuum pump, a circulation chiller F-305 / F-308, and various control interfaces (I-300 or I-300 Pro). These elements ensure automated regulation of process parameters, thereby improving the reproducibility of experiments and data traceability. The I-300 Pro interface also offers real-time monitoring through push notifications and graphical recording of distillation data.
The device is also compatible with various glass assemblies, including vertical condensers, reflux condensers, and cold traps for the distillation of low-boiling solvents. These options expand the range of possible applications and adapt the evaporator to the specific requirements of each laboratory.
Ergonomics and safety are at the heart of the Rotavapor® R-300 design. The Combi-Clip, a quick-release system for the flask, simplifies handling while ensuring perfect system sealing. The integrated digital display allows for quick reading of key parameters, ensuring optimal process monitoring.
