ROTOFIX 46: Industrial benchtop centrifuge: performance and robustness
The ROTOFIX 46 is a centrifuge designed to meet the requirements of industrial and research laboratories. Its robust construction and ability to operate under intensive conditions make it ideal for demanding environments. With a metal housing and lid, it is resistant to wear and frequent mechanical stress. Its brushless motor ensures a long service life and quiet operation, with a maximum noise level of only 58 dB(A).
The stainless steel chamber guarantees optimal hygiene and corrosion resistance, while the lid lock, lid fall protection and emergency release enhance user safety. The ROTOFIX 46 is also equipped with an automatic rotor recognition system, an error display and an automatic shut-off in case of imbalance, ensuring reliable and safe use.
Flexibility of use thanks to specialised rotors and accessories
The ROTOFIX 46 offers great flexibility thanks to its choice of swing-bucket rotors. It can accommodate up to 4 x 290 ml tubes with the 5694 rotor, reaching a maximum relative centrifugal force (RCF) of 3,095. This rotor allows the use of a variety of tubes, including ASTM and Babcock tubes for petroleum testing, thanks to specialised buckets and adapters.
The 4474 rotor, on the other hand, allows centrifugation at 2,000 rpm with a capacity of 4 x 100 ml, ideal for applications requiring a more moderate speed. Each rotor comes with buckets, lids and adapters compatible with a wide range of tubes, offering customisation according to specific laboratory needs.
Compliance and certifications for assured quality
The ROTOFIX 46 is CE and TÜV SÜD certified, compliant with EN/IEC 61326-1 class B standards for electromagnetic emission and immunity. It is also registered with the relevant authorities and manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 13485 standards, ensuring consistent production quality and responsible environmental management.
Its intuitive control panel allows all centrifugation parameters to be set with precision, including duration (from 1 second to 99 minutes 59 seconds) and speed, adjustable in increments of 10 rpm. An audible signal indicates the end of the cycle, making it easy to monitor operations.
