RS-P26 models: robust dot matrix printer for compliant metrological documentation
The Mettler Toledo RS-P26 printer is a dot matrix printing solution specifically developed to document data from precision measuring instruments, including Mettler Toledo scales and analysers. Meeting the strict traceability requirements of modern quality systems such as GLP, GMP and ISO 9001, it delivers durable, light-resistant and stable prints on plain paper.
Designed for seamless integration via an RS232C serial interface, the RS-P26 automatically detects the data transmission speed (auto baud rate function), making it easy to install with a variety of compatible instruments. This feature can be disabled to accommodate more specific configurations. In addition, the printer is equipped with function keys for manual printing, taring or zeroing the scale, and printing the time stamp (date and time) of the results, ensuring complete traceability of measurements.
Its print speed is 2.3 lines per second, with a matrix resolution of 5x7 dots per character on a 24-character line, making it particularly suitable for simple but rigorous documentation. It is designed for use in environments ranging from 0°C to 40°C, with non-condensing relative humidity of up to 80%.
Maintenance is greatly facilitated by the printer's simple design. The paper roll or ribbon cassette can be changed without tools and does not require any special technical skills. The printer also has test and diagnostic functions to ensure optimal operation.
