Description

Waters 2695: Integrated Platform for HPLC Chromatography

The Waters 2695 is an all-in-one system that combines solvent and sample management to automate high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analyses. By centralizing critical separation functions within an integrated platform, it minimizes manual handling while maximizing result reliability.

This module controls up to four solvents and delivers exceptional accuracy in gradient management, flow rate, and injection volume. It supports method programming, solvent degassing, column and sample temperature control (with optional modules), and can interface via RS-232 or IEEE-488, depending on the chosen configuration.

The 2695 accommodates up to 120 vials distributed across five carousels, with a configurable injection range of 1 to 99 per sample. Its user interface—featuring an LCD screen and keypad—makes it easy to configure methods and monitor operations in real time. A built-in floppy disk drive facilitates method transfer and archiving, enabling streamlined deployment of protocols across multiple systems.

The module also ensures complete traceability by automatically logging key operational data such as total number of injections, solvent consumption, and system errors. Optional accessories include a barcode reader, sample heating/cooling module, and PerformancePLUS™ in-line degasser to meet specific analytical requirements.

In terms of compatibility, the Waters 2695 can operate as a standalone unit or be integrated into complex systems, communicating with a wide range of chromatographic software and instrumentation. It also supports multiple injection strategies, including standard and extended loop configurations.

Reliable, precise, and modular, the Waters 2695 is a robust solution for research, quality control, or analytical development laboratories seeking a high-performance chromatography system adaptable to diverse applications.
