SH-4A heating plate – For controlled thermal heating
The SH-4A heating plate manufactured by Faithful is designed to provide an efficient and reliable heating solution for academic, industrial, medical or research laboratories. Unlike other models in the Faithful range, the SH-4A does not incorporate a magnetic stirring function. It is exclusively a heating device, designed to ensure stable and uniform temperature rise under demanding working conditions. Thanks to its ceramic-coated cast iron heating plate, it guarantees excellent heat distribution while offering a surface that is resistant to chemicals commonly used in laboratories.
The SH-4A can heat liquid volumes of up to 5000 mL, with a maximum temperature of 380 °C. This capacity makes it a suitable choice for procedures requiring high and prolonged temperatures, such as evaporation, chemical reactions, or the dissolution of solid substances. The 600 W heating power ensures rapid and stable temperature rise. Temperature control is via a simple analogue control with a knob for gradual adjustment and a graduated scale on the front for easy viewing.
This model does not include a motor, stirrer or integrated temperature sensor. It is designed for continuous use without a timer or additional electronic functions. Its simple design makes it a reliable and durable appliance that is particularly appreciated for its mechanical robustness. The housing is made of welded iron with a powder-coated finish, offering good resistance to wear and splashes.
With its compact dimensions of 320 x 190 x 125 mm, the SH-4A hot plate is easy to integrate into a workbench without taking up valuable space. It is suitable for a 110V or 220V power supply at 50/60 Hz, with a thermal load capacity of 10 kg.
