CELLSPIN: A Precise Modular System for Your Cell Cultures
Designed to meet the growing demands of modern cell culture laboratories, the CELLSPIN by INTEGRA offers a high-performance solution for gentle and uniform agitation of spinner flasks. This modular system enables simultaneous cultivation of up to four flasks—regardless of size (100 ml to 1000 ml)—while maintaining optimal growth conditions.
The CELLSPIN stands out for its low-shear shaking platform, featuring a unique agitation mechanism based on glass pendulums. This technology ensures effective mixing without overheating the cell suspension, thereby avoiding thermal stress. It is particularly well-suited for sensitive cell lines and processes requiring precise homogeneity of the culture medium.
The external control unit, located outside the incubator, manages all electronic functions and allows programming of up to 10 custom protocols, with adjustable speed and pause settings. Agitation speed is finely adjustable from 5 to 75 revolutions per minute (rpm). Speeds from 5 to 40 rpm can be set in 2.5 rpm increments, and from 40 to 75 rpm in 5 rpm increments.
In the event of failure—such as a power outage or disconnected cable—the system emits an audible alarm and displays an error message to prevent loss of cultures. CELLSPIN can also be connected to a PC or printer to ensure rigorous monitoring of culture parameters, supporting strict traceability requirements in bioproduction workflows.
Versatile and robust, the CELLSPIN is built from corrosion-resistant materials. Its sealed motor extends system lifespan and ensures reliable long-term performance.
