The SILENT TS 2 is a high-performance extraction solution designed for dental laboratories. Its role is to collect dry, non-explosive dust generated during sanding, milling or processing of dental materials. Operating in a temperature range of 5°C to 40°C, it guarantees efficient extraction while complying with safety standards. Exclusively for professional use, it must be handled by qualified personnel to ensure compliance with the prescribed operating and maintenance conditions. In accordance with European directives (Machinery, Electromagnetic Compatibility, RoHS), it is fully integrated into regulated working environments. Subject to the WEEE directive, it must be recycled in accordance with the procedures laid down for the responsible management of electrical equipment.
Flow Control and Health Protection
One of the major advantages of the SILENT TS 2 is its compatibility with the Silent Flow Sensor. This device ensures continuous monitoring of the suction flow: if it falls below a defined threshold, a warning light flashes and an audible signal is emitted every thirty seconds. In this situation, work must be stopped to check and correct the cause, whether it is a blocked filter, a full bag, a leak or an incorrect power setting. This monitoring significantly reduces exposure to fine dust, ensuring better hygiene at the workstation. Thanks to this feature, the SILENT TS 2 helps protect operators' health while maintaining a high level of safety in the laboratory.
Setup, Use and Maintenance
Designed for practical use, the SILENT TS 2 offers simple operation with an on/off switch, an automatic standby mode and the option of selecting the extraction channel (A or B) either manually or automatically via the connected device. The suction power is continuously adjustable to suit the specific requirements of each workstation. Maintenance is easy: an indicator light and an audible signal warn when the dust bag is full. The bag and fine filter are designed to be replaced with minimal particle dispersion, making handling safer. The system is compatible with a range of accessories including sleeve valves, compressed air hose, suction elbow, PVC sleeves and a 4 m flexible hose. If installed in a closed cabinet, adequate air extraction must be provided.
