The Keeler Portable Slit Lamp (PSL) is an AC-powered biomicroscope designed to facilitate the examination of the anterior and posterior segments of the human eye. This device enables detailed visualization of both front and back structures, including the eyelid, sclera, conjunctiva, iris, natural lens, and cornea. The PSL uses a rotating slit wheel system, offering a slit length of 12 mm and an angle of +/- 60º. The filter options include red-free, blue, neutral density (0.8), and clear, allowing versatile examinations suited to various clinical needs.

Binocular Biomicroscope

The PSL is a portable binocular biomicroscope with convergent optics at 13º. It offers two magnification levels: 10x fixed for the PSL one model, and 10x and 16x with lever change for the PSL Classic model. The working distance of the objective is 100 mm for 10x magnification and 80 mm for 16x magnification, with a field of view of 16 mm and 10.5 mm, respectively.

Dioptric Adjustment and Weight

The eyepieces have a dioptric adjustment of +/- 7 diopters, allowing personalized adaptation for each user. The portable device weighs approximately 900g and measures 238 x 116 x 210 mm, while the charging station weighs 300g and measures 205 x 138 x 40 mm.

Power Supply

The PSL is powered by a switchable mode power unit, compatible with voltages from 110V to 240V. The output is 30VA (12V DC 2.5A), ensuring stable and reliable power.
