SL-250 Slit Lamp: Precision Eye Observation with Haag-Streit Lighting and High-Performance Optical System

The SL-250 is a versatile slit lamp equipped with an adjustable tungsten lighting system in the Haag-Streit style, specifically designed to enable a detailed examination of the eye and its surrounding structures. This encompasses a meticulous examination of the eyelids, eye periphery, the anterior segment including the cornea, anterior chamber, and lens, as well as the posterior segment including the vitreous and retina. The use of special lenses facilitates access to these different ocular regions.

To ensure a tailored observation of the eye, the SL-250 is equipped with a Greenough optical system with converging binoculars. This device provides increased clarity and sharpness during examinations, ensuring a precise evaluation of ocular structures. Additionally, the lamp's light arm can be tilted up to 20°, allowing optimal highlighting of different parts of the eye.

The SL-250 offers variable magnification with two options available, namely 10x and 16x. These magnification choices provide flexibility in observation, allowing practitioners to select the level of detail required for a thorough assessment.

In terms of practicality, the slit lamp directly incorporates various essential filters for different analyses. Among these, there is a blue filter, ideal for corneal observation, as well as an erythra filter that facilitates vessel visualization. These integrated filters make specialized analyses more accessible and effective for ocular health professionals.
