SL-75 Elite Slit Lamp: Excellence in Ophthalmic Diagnosis
The SL-75 Elite slit lamp, manufactured by C.S.O. S.r.l. in Badia a settimo, Italy, represents the pinnacle of slit lamp technology. With 40 years of experience in ophthalmology, this model offers the most modern and premium instruments available on the market.
The SL-75 Elite microscope is a convergent Galilean type with a magnification change system. The 12.5x eyepieces are suitable for eyeglass wearers and adjustable by ±8 D. Magnifications range from 6x to 40x, providing real enlargements from 5.6x to 39.3x. The field of view ranges from 41 mm to 5.7 mm, and the interpupillary distance is adjustable between 50 mm and 80 mm, ensuring optimal comfort for each patient.
The SL-75 Elite is equipped with high-performance white LED lighting offering a brightness of 284,000 LUX and a color temperature of 3100 K. The LED bulb promises a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours while being energy-efficient. Brightness control is integrated into the lamp base, allowing for easy and intuitive use.
The SL-75 Elite stands out with its optimized mechanisms offering unique smoothness and soft stops. Multilayer optics ensure the highest depth of field during examination, allowing detailed and precise observations. The slit can be horizontally tilted up to 20° thanks to the slit decoupling feature.
Pre-equipped to accommodate the DigiPro camera module, the SL-75 Elite facilitates capturing exceptionally sharp images. The lamp joystick features a built-in trigger for quick and precise shooting. The DigiPro camera, equipped with a 3/4-inch professional sensor, is designed to provide true-color images and enhanced details even at high magnification levels. Advanced selective sharpness algorithm and automatic white balance ensure accurate color reproduction and optimal image quality for precise and efficient diagnosis.
In addition to the DigiPro camera module, the SL-75 Elite comes with advanced Phoenix software for professional management of ophthalmic images. This software allows practitioners to mark, draw, annotate, and measure directly on captured images, facilitating case tracking and information sharing with patients and other healthcare professionals. With its DICOM interface, the Phoenix system offers high compatibility with existing computer systems, ensuring secure and efficient data transfer via USB3.0 connection.
Optionally, the SL-75 Elite can be equipped with an applanation tonometer, a high-precision measuring instrument using standard prisms available in disposable versions. Additionally, the ergonomic eyepiece adapter with a 20° viewing angle is ideal for tall users, offering optimal comfort and reducing neck strain during extended examinations.
