SL-9800 LED Slit Lamp: Advanced Eye Observation with Comprehensive Accessories for Clinical Excellence
Integrated Observational Tool for Clinical Practice: SL-9800 LED Slit Lamp Overview
The SL-9800, a Zeiss-type LED light slit lamp designed for comprehensive eye observation, covers the examination of the eye and its appendices, spanning from the anterior segment (cornea, anterior chamber, and crystalline) to the posterior segment (vitreous and retina). This device, equipped with special magnifying glasses, seamlessly integrates into NIDEK consultation units, making it suitable for daily use.
The bio microscope features a 6° convergent binocular optical system, incorporating high-precision mechanical components for a comfortable and precise consultation experience. The LED source ensures a stable and natural viewing environment without temperature elevation.
Utilizing a classical nosepiece-type magnification system, the SL-9800 offers five different magnifications (6x, 10x, 16x, 25x, and 40x) for detailed visualizations of eye structures. With a maximal slit width and height of 14 mm, it allows comprehensive observation of the entire anterior part, accommodating various patient morphologies.
Filters and Digitalization Set: The slit lamp provides various filters tailored for different analyses, including a yellow filter for fluorescein exams and an anerythristic filter for vessel visualization. Accessing these filters is user-friendly.
A digitalization set for images and videos can be seamlessly integrated into the slit lamp, connected to a dedicated software compatible with DICOM and Phoenix. The camera, featuring a 2 Megapixel CCD sensor, records high-resolution images (1624 x 1232 for photos, 1280×960 for videos), facilitating storage, transfer to EMR software, and utilization for patient follow-up and training.
Accessories for Diverse Applications: The SL-9800 can be enhanced with various accessories to extend its clinical applications:
- External Light System: Adjustable ambient lighting for homogeneous eye illumination, aiding in capturing images more effectively.
- Optical Splitter: Integrated at the optical unit level, it allows the addition of a co-observation tube, facilitating training by another observer.
- Tilting Block (20°): Added at the eyepiece level, this optical component enables users to position themselves higher for an improved view.
