SL-9800 ZOOM LED Slit Lamp: Advanced Eye Observation with Comprehensive Accessories for Clinical Excellence
The SL-9800 slit lamp, an integrated observational tool in clinical practice, is a LED-illuminated Zeiss-type slit lamp (bottom illumination). It is designed for detailed observation of the eye and its components, covering the anterior segment (cornea, anterior chamber, and lens) to the posterior segment (vitreous and retina), with the use of special magnifying lenses. Optimally integrated into NIDEK examination units, it offers easy daily use.
The SL-9800 ZOOM slit lamp is equipped with various easily accessible filters, such as a yellow filter for fluorescein examinations and a red-free filter for vessel visualization. It also provides the option to install an image and video scanning kit connected to dedicated software compatible with DICOM and Phoenix. The camera features a 2-megapixel CCD sensor for recording high-resolution images and videos (1624×1232 in photos and 1280×960 in videos), suitable for patient monitoring, training, and integration into electronic medical records.
To broaden its clinical applications, the SL-9800 slit lamp can be fitted with various accessories, including an adjustable external illumination system for uniformly lighting the eye for photography, an optical splitter allowing the addition of a co-observation tube for viewing by a second observer (training), and a tilt block (20°) added to the eyepiece level, allowing the user to adopt a higher position for enhanced visualization.
The SL-980 ZOOM version features continuous magnification from 6x to 33x, providing contrasted, bright, and sharp images due to the multi-coated anti-reflective treatment of the optical system. All accessories of Galilean-type microscopes can be utilized.
Galilean-type microscopes with a 5x zoom offer the advantage of image fusion through converging binocular tubes at 8°. They provide unparalleled visual comfort. Standard eyepieces of 12.5x allow total magnification of 6x, 10x, 16x, 25x, and 40x.
