SL-990 ZOOM Slit Lamp: Advanced Halogen Lighting, Integrated Yellow Filter, and Video System for Precision Eye Examinations

The SL-990 ZOOM is a slit lamp equipped with a high-performance halogen lighting system, ensuring optimal light stability even in extreme temperature conditions. The tiltable lighting unit allows for a vertical projection of the light slit over a 20' field, with 5' adjustments, providing valuable flexibility for various examinations, including horizontal observation, gonioscopic examination, and exploration of the posterior pole.

The advanced features of the SL-990 ZOOM include an integrated yellow filter to facilitate fluorescein examinations. This filter, directly integrated into the microscope, can be easily raised using a lever, enhancing the efficiency of the system.

For complete video integration, the system offers an optional digital micro camera, an analog monitor, a video recorder, and a color printer. The optional micro camera allows interference-free imaging with the observation eyepieces, ensuring perfect synchronization with the slit lamp manipulation by the operator and optimizing the overall luminous performance of the system.

The SL-990 ZOOM is also equipped with a detachable optical divider, allocating 50% of the optical image to the microscope's video camera and 50% to the operator's eyepieces. Available in different versions to adapt to various configurations, this system is compatible with Panasonic cameras, standard type C video cameras, other video cameras (with required adapter/joint), and offers a dual output. These features make the SL-980 ZOOM slit lamps adaptable to zoom and Galilean-type microscopes.

The SL-980 ZOOM version offer continuous magnification from 6x to 33x, providing sharp, bright, and contrasted images thanks to the multi-coated anti-reflective treatment of the optical system. All accessories of the Galilean-type microscope are compatible, offering great versatility of use.
