SMART-e320 from Drawell – A digital microscope designed for laboratory performance
The Drawell SMART-e320 stands out as a complete digital solution for users looking for a microscope that combines visual comfort, mechanical stability and direct image transmission. Designed for intensive use in biology, education and diagnostics, this microscope features a 30° inclined and 360° rotatable Seidentopf binocular head, suitable for a wide range of morphologies thanks to an adjustable interpupillary distance of 50 to 75 mm. This optical system is compatible with WF 10X-20 mm wide-field eyepieces, facilitating prolonged observation while reducing eye fatigue.
The SMART-e320 is equipped with a quadruple objective turret that accommodates Infinity EPlan 4X, 10X, 40X (0.65 S) and 100X (1.25 S, oil immersion) objectives, ensuring consistent sharpness across the entire field of view. The microscope also features a fine focusing system combined with a 145 mm x 140 mm mechanical stage with precise 76 mm x 52 mm travel, ideal for detailed analysis on multiple slides. Each movement can be measured with an accuracy of 0.1 mm thanks to an engraved scale, accompanied by a double slide holder to optimise serial handling.
At the heart of the SMART-e320, an integrated 3.2 MP digital camera captures images by sequential colour scanning via a 1/2" CMOS sensor, without the need for an external power source thanks to its USB 2.0 connection compatible with Windows operating systems. This allows perfect synchronisation between observation through the eyepiece and image transmission to the screen, thanks to a 20:80 light distribution prism. No switching is necessary: the user benefits from both the digital image and optical observation simultaneously.
Designed to last, the microscope is protected against moisture and dust and has an internal processing chip. The LED lighting system, with adjustable intensity, ensures uniform illumination suitable for all viewing conditions.
The SMART-e320 is a reliable solution that can be integrated into a demanding professional workflow, while remaining accessible to educational institutions looking for an intuitive and durable instrument.
