SmartFAST MINI vertical laminar flow hood for demanding laboratories
The SmartFAST MINI is an effective protection solution for laboratories handling products that are sensitive to airborne contamination. Designed in accordance with ISO Class 3 standards, this hood guarantees a particle-free working environment thanks to its high-performance filtration system. Its small size and portability allow for easy integration into various workspaces without compromising on safety or reliability.
Filtration technology for maximum purity
At the heart of the SmartFAST MINI is a dual filtration system: a synthetic fibre pre-filter with a minimum efficiency of 80–90% according to ASHRAE standards, and a HEPA/ULPA H14 filter compliant with EN-1822 standards, offering an efficiency greater than 99.995% MPPS. Ambient air is drawn in at the top of the hood, passes through the pre-filter, and is then filtered by the HEPA filter before being diffused into the work area in a vertical laminar flow. This process ensures constant protection of samples from non-pathogenic particles.
The laminar airflow is designed to maintain positive pressure in the work area, preventing the intrusion of external contaminants. The filtered air is then evacuated through the front opening and under the work surface, ensuring continuous and controlled circulation.
Ergonomic design and quiet performance
The SmartFAST MINI combines efficiency and ease of use. Its noise level of only 53 dB(A) allows for prolonged work without acoustic disturbance. Its compact structure (642×340×830 mm) and light weight (50 kg) make it easy to move and install on any type of workbench. The usable work surface (580×315×376 mm) is optimised for common microbiology and cell culture procedures.
