Memmert SN55 steriliser: reliability and performance for laboratory sterilisation
The Memmert SN55 hot air steriliser is a particularly reliable and high-performance thermal sterilisation solution for laboratories, medical centres and research facilities. Designed to ensure the complete destruction of microorganisms, it replaces disinfection with true sterilisation, thus complying with all regulatory requirements for medical devices. With its 53-litre chamber and load capacity of up to 80 kg, it effectively meets the needs of small and medium-sized facilities. The device operates on the principle of natural convection with a controlled supply of preheated fresh air, ensuring even heat distribution and consistent results regardless of the position of the instruments inside.
Precise temperature control for controlled sterilisation
The SN55 is equipped with a digital PID control system based on a multifunction microprocessor with a high-definition TFT colour display. This system offers optimum precision, allowing temperature settings from +20 to +250°C, with an accuracy of 0.1°C below 99.9°C and 0.5°C above. One of the key features of this device is the Setpoint Wait function, which ensures that the sterilisation process only starts when the programmed temperature is reached. This mechanism can be applied with Pt100 temperature sensors placed freely in the chamber to validate that all measuring points have reached the target temperature before the sterilisation phase begins. This feature is essential for ensuring maximum cycle efficiency and flawless safety.
Robust design and user-friendly interface for simplified use
The interior structure of the SN55 steriliser is made entirely of stainless steel, with pressed ribs and protected heating on all four sides, ensuring both excellent thermal conductivity and remarkable ease of cleaning. The stainless steel door is equipped with a two-point compression lock, guaranteeing a perfect seal during sterilisation cycles. The ControlCOCKPIT SingleDISPLAY control panel makes programming intuitive, with detailed configuration options including temperature setting in Celsius or Fahrenheit, air valve control, programme time and time zones. In the event of a power failure, the programme data is automatically saved, enhancing the reliability of the appliance.
The integration of AtmoCONTROL software via USB or Ethernet interface enables advanced sterilisation data management and accurate cycle history tracking for full traceability.
