Spectrophotometer E-1000 series - Brand New

The E-1000 series from PEAK Instruments offers compact, reliable spectrophotometers designed for routine analysis in educational, industrial and quality control laboratories. Comprising two models, the E-1000V (Vis) and E-1000UV (UV-Vis), this series covers wavelength ranges from 320 to 1020 nm for the Vis model and from 190 to 1020 nm for the UV-Vis model. Featuring a backlit LCD display, outstanding stability and broad compatibility with standard accessories, the E-1000 models are practical, economical and easy-to-use instruments for reliable everyday use.

Description

E-1000V and E-1000UV spectrophotometers: a series designed for everyday spectrophotometry needs

The E-1000 series from PEAK Instruments comprises two single-beam spectrophotometer models: the E-1000V, designed for spectrophotometry in the visible range, and the E-1000UV, which covers both the ultraviolet and visible ranges. Designed for laboratories looking for efficient solutions without unnecessary complexity, these instruments are distinguished by their ease of use, stable performance and compact size, making them ideal for academic or industrial laboratory environments.

The E-1000V model is calibrated to operate in a range from 320 to 1020 nm, while the E-1000UV extends this range from 190 to 1020 nm, allowing measurements in the ultraviolet range. These spectrophotometers use a single-beam optical system with a spectral bandwidth of 4 nm. Their light sources – a tungsten-halogen lamp for the E-1000V and a tungsten-halogen lamp combined with a deuterium lamp for the E-1000UV – ensure complete coverage of the wavelengths required for most analytical tests.

Both models feature a 70x40 mm backlit LCD display that clearly shows the main parameters: transmittance (%T), absorbance (A), concentration (C) and b. This system, coupled with an intuitive oval button interface, simplifies manual wavelength adjustment and quick interpretation of results. The spectrophotometer also allows automatic calibration of 0% A and 100% T, facilitating repetitive operations.

With a photometric accuracy of 0.5% T and repeatability of 0.2% T, the E-1000 models ensure reproducible results in routine analyses. The level of stray light is limited to ≀ 0.15% T at 360 nm, ensuring reliable measurements even for low-concentration samples.

The device offers data output via an RS232 port and can be connected to a printer or PC software (optional, compatible with Windows XP only). The power supply is 110 to 220 V at 50/60 Hz, allowing international use. Compact and lightweight, each device weighs only 9 kg and measures 530 x 460 x 320 mm.

To meet different analysis requirements, PEAK Instruments offers a range of compatible accessories: single or multi-position cell holders, Peltier thermostats, tube holders, integrating spheres, and more. These options extend the flexibility of the E-1000 series while maintaining a low entry cost.

The E-1000 spectrophotometers are a wise choice for any organisation looking for an economical, functional and durable instrument without compromising on the quality of results.
