Speedwave Entry Microwave Digestion System

The Speedwave Entry from Berghof is a microwave digestion system designed for laboratories looking for a reliable, easy-to-use tool suitable for routine analyses. Featuring precise temperature control via a patented optical thermometer (DIRC) and overpressure protection via a rupture disc, it guarantees a high level of safety. Its illuminated chamber and gas collection system make it both efficient and practical. Compatible with TFMTM-PTFE or quartz vessels, the Speedwave Entry is the smart choice for applications in environmental science, agriculture, medicine and biology.

Description

Speedwave Entry microwave digestion system: a functional solution for routine analyses

Berghof's Speedwave Entry has been specifically designed to meet the needs of laboratories that perform frequent acid digestions as part of routine analyses. This model is particularly suitable for users looking for reliable, easy-to-use equipment that does not require complex handling. Thanks to its multilingual touchscreen interface and intuitive software, it can be used immediately without any technical training. Two taps on the screen are all it takes to launch one of the pre-installed protocols, including the latest DIN and EPA standards.

This system stands out for the quality of its digestion vessels, which are made of isostatically moulded TFMTM-PTFE, guaranteeing high chemical resistance, minimal porosity and easy handling. The vessels have only three components and can be opened and closed by hand without tools. The Speedwave Entry also features a camera for viewing the digestion chamber and interior lighting, allowing direct visual monitoring throughout the entire process.

On the safety side, the system incorporates a gas collection device that continuously evacuates fumes, eliminating any risk in the event of a disc rupture. This double safety feature protects both the user and the working environment. The permanent evacuation of the chamber ensures a controlled and clean atmosphere throughout the digestion process.

The patented DIRC optical thermometer measures temperature in real time without contact, through infrared-transparent materials such as TFMTM-PTFE or quartz. This allows fine and precise control of reactions without the need for reference vessels. The Speedwave Entry does not sacrifice performance for simplicity: it ensures high-quality digestion while allowing economical use without unnecessary accessories.

Suitable for use in environmental, biological, medical, food and agricultural applications, this compact and robust model fits easily into small spaces. It is also ideal for training and educational purposes thanks to its ease of use and ergonomic design.
