Spirometer PNEUMOTRAC 6800 - New 2019

The Vitalograph Pneumotrac 6800 is a high-precision desktop spirometer designed for assessing respiratory function. It measures various respiratory parameters, including Vital Capacity (VC), Forced Expiratory Volume in 1 second (FEV1), Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF), and Maximum Voluntary Ventilation (MVV). Compatible with Spirotrac PC software, it provides reliable spirometry tests for adults and children aged 5 and over. This device meets international standards and is ideal for use in various clinical environments such as primary care, hospitals, and occupational health centers.

Description

Precise Spirometry with the Pneumotrac 6800: A Trusted Choice for Healthcare Professionals

The Vitalograph Pneumotrac 6800 is a high-performance desktop spirometer offering reliable measurements of essential respiratory parameters for evaluating lung function. Designed for use in a variety of clinical environments such as primary care, hospitals, and occupational health centers, this device is recommended for spirometry tests assessing the pulmonary health of adults and children aged 5 and older.

The Pneumotrac 6800 measures a wide range of respiratory parameters, including Vital Capacity (VC), Forced Expiratory Volume in 1 second (FEV1), Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF), and Maximum Voluntary Ventilation (MVV). These measurements are critical for diagnosing and monitoring pulmonary conditions such as asthma, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), and other respiratory disorders.

The spirometer uses a Fleisch-type flow sensor for accurate respiratory flow detection. This sensor is integrated into a user-friendly device with a flowhead that rests on the unit when not in use. Volume measurement accuracy is ±2.5%, and the maximum flow rate is ±960 L/min. With its ability to integrate flow at a rate of 100 Hz, the Pneumotrac provides detailed analysis during spirometry tests, ensuring reliable results for healthcare professionals trained in respiratory testing.

The Pneumotrac 6800 is compatible with Spirotrac PC software, enabling advanced data management and analysis. This intuitive software allows for systematic tracking of test results and provides in-depth monitoring of the patient’s respiratory function over time.

The device is designed to operate within a temperature range of 10 to 40°C and humidity range of 30% to 75%, ensuring optimal performance under varied clinical conditions. The device meets or exceeds performance standards such as ATS/ERS 2019, ISO 23747:2015, and ISO 26782:2009, offering increased safety and reliability during medical use.

The Pneumotrac 6800 is compact and lightweight, with dimensions of 160 mm (length), 95 mm (width), and 115 mm (height), weighing only 550 g. It is powered through a 5V DC USB connection, making it convenient for use with compatible computers or devices without needing an external power source.

Additionally, the Pneumotrac 6800 comes with a range of consumables and accessories such as bacterial/viral filters, precision syringes, flowheads, and silicone grease packs, ensuring long-lasting performance and the ability to tailor the device for specific testing needs.
