Description

Spirolab III: A powerful respiratory diagnostic tool

The MIR Spirolab III is a portable desktop spirometer designed to provide fast, simple and accurate diagnosis of respiratory diseases such as COPD and asthma. This multi-tasking, versatile device is ideal for family doctors, pharmacies and clinics, thanks to its ease of use and ability to perform spirometry and oximetry tests.

The Spirolab III stands out for its high-resolution colour display and icon-based menu, which makes the user interface intuitive and easy to navigate. It can display up to 8 tests on the screen simultaneously and has a memory capacity of 6,000 tests, making it a valuable tool for long-term patient monitoring.

One of the most notable features of the Spirolab III is its oximetry option, which allows for different types of oximetry tests, including sleep and exercise tests. These include spot oximetry, bedside sleep oximetry with desaturation event recording, and oximetry during exercise tests. These features enable a comprehensive assessment of respiratory function and oxygen saturation, which is essential for the diagnosis and monitoring of respiratory diseases.

The Spirolab III is also suitable for children, thanks to an exclusive paediatric incentive programme that helps children (or elderly people) perform spirometry tests correctly. This incentive programme is displayed on the screen and makes testing more engaging and less intimidating for young patients.

In terms of connectivity, the Spirolab III offers USB, RS232 and Bluetooth options, allowing easy integration with other medical devices and data management systems. It also comes with WinspiroPRO software, a high-performance software package for spirometry and oximetry, which includes free updates.

The Spirolab III uses FlowMIR turbines, which are disposable flow sensors, ensuring maximum accuracy and hygiene. Each turbine is factory calibrated with a computerised system and individually packaged in a clean room, ensuring 100% hygiene. A reusable turbine option is also available, offering long-term accuracy and durability.

The MIR Spirolab III is a state-of-the-art respiratory diagnostic tool, offering a combination of accuracy, ease of use and versatility. It is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to improve the quality of respiratory care and provide fast and accurate diagnoses to their patients.
