The 1501 stretcher features 20 cm (8˝) Omni Surface™ casters designed to provide exceptional maneuverability and increased stability. The locking caster steering is a key feature that improves traction and cornering capabilities, ensuring a smooth and secure ride even in crowded or cluttered environments. For additional stability in demanding environments, BIG WHEEL® casters are available as an option, offering enhanced traction on various surfaces.

The Stryker 1501 stretcher is equipped with several features that enhance safety and convenience during use. Four IV receptacles allow for easy management of fluids during transport. An integrated storage tray with an oxygen bottle holder ensures that essential equipment is always within reach. Rubber bumpers protect both the stretcher and surrounding surfaces, reducing the risk of accidental damage.

Optional four-sided brake controls provide secure locking of the stretcher to prevent any unwanted movement. However, it is important to note that these controls are not compatible with the BIG WHEEL® option. The stretcher can also be fitted with either fold-down or Glideaway™ side rails, depending on the model, offering flexibility to facilitate patient access and security during transfers.

In addition to standard features, the Stryker 1501 offers a range of optional accessories to meet specific needs. These include a defibrillator tray, a removable push bar, and various types of mattresses, allowing facilities to customize the stretcher according to their particular requirements. The stretcher can also be equipped with patient restraints, an IV caddy, and IV poles for practical fluid management.
