Linet Sprint Stretcher: Comfort, Safety, and Simplified Diagnosis
The Linet Sprint is a universal transport stretcher, designed to provide rapid treatment and diagnosis for patients in critical health conditions, directly on the stretcher, without requiring any additional transfer. It is equipped with advanced features that allow for immediate care, particularly in emergency and intensive care units.
The Sprint was developed with ergonomics and functionality in mind to ensure optimal use by medical staff. Its robust frame and retractable plastic side rails provide maximum safety while making it easier for caregivers to work. The stretcher is equipped with plastic protections around the perimeter and reinforced corners to prevent accidents.
One of the key features of the Sprint is its X-ray translucent mattress platform. This functionality allows for radiographic exams without the need to transfer the patient to an X-ray table. The integrated X-ray cassette holder can be slid under the mattress platform and allows for quick care, even in the most urgent situations.
With this system, it is possible to perform X-rays of the patient along the entire length of the platform, including the head, which is a crucial advantage for emergency diagnostics. Furthermore, the platform is X-ray translucent, simplifying the examination without additional manipulation of the patient.
The Sprint is also suitable for diagnostics using a C-arm, a crucial technology in emergency situations, such as intracardiac stimulation insertion or catheterization. The translucent platform allows easy access to the patient's body, from head to toe, for various medical imaging procedures.
The stretcher’s sub-structure frame, combined with a wide range of height adjustment, makes it easier to use radiography or C-arm equipment, ensuring easy access to all necessary angles during exams.
The Sprint is equipped with a foot control system to adjust the height and tilt the mattress platform. This control is accessible from both sides of the stretcher, allowing caregivers to work efficiently, even in tight spaces. The controls are wear-resistant and designed for intensive use.
The 4 wheels, each 200 mm in diameter, provide great stability and facilitate movement over rough surfaces. Additionally, the addition of a fifth directional wheel allows the stretcher to turn in place, which is particularly useful in narrow hallways or corners.
The Sprint comes with a specially designed mattress for stretcher use. There are three types of mattresses: Sprint Standard (6 cm), Sprint Plus (6 cm), and Sprint Comfort (10 cm), offering different levels of comfort and support depending on the patient's needs. All mattresses are equipped with an antistatic, waterproof, and easily washable cover, and are designed to ensure optimal durability and ease of cleaning.
