The IKA T 25 digital ULTRA-TURRAX is a powerful and versatile benchtop homogeniser designed for dispersionemulsification and deagglomeration applications in research and quality control laboratories. Operating on the rotor/stator principle, it achieves speeds of up to 25,000 rpm, ensuring efficient shearing of liquid and semi-liquid media. Easy to use and featuring an intuitive LED display, it guarantees fast and homogeneous sample processing. Its robust 500 W motor and compatibility with various dispersion tools make it a reliable choice for a wide range of analytical applications.

Description

T 25 digital ULTRA-TURRAX for precision dispersion in the laboratory

Designed by IKA, the T 25 digital ULTRA-TURRAX is a laboratory homogeniser dedicated to the rapid and efficient preparation of suspensions, emulsions and dispersions. With a powerful 500-watt motor and capable of reaching a rotation speed of 25,000 revolutions per minute, this device excels at disintegrating solids in liquids, fragmenting particles and intensively mixing immiscible phases. It is based on the rotor/stator principle, a proven mechanism in which the material is sucked axially towards the dispersion head before being projected radially through the stator slots. This dynamic generates extremely intense shear and thrust forces, complemented by turbulence in the rotor-stator gap, ensuring homogeneous dispersion in a short time.

The T 25 digital ULTRA-TURRAX is specifically designed for use with an R 1826 stand, ensuring stability and safety during operation. The extension arm and cross sleeve mounting system ensures a solid and reliable installation. The device works exclusively with dispersion tools approved by IKA, which guarantees perfect mechanical and thermal compatibility and avoids the risks associated with overheating or imbalance.

Thanks to its integrated LED display, the speed can be precisely controlled and adjusted using a rotary knob, offering perfect adaptability depending on the fluid or material being processed. This control system allows fine adjustment of the speed between 3,000 and 25,000 rpm, with a resolution of 200 rpm, ensuring optimal processing for every application. In addition, the device is equipped with several protection mechanisms against overheating, overvoltage and blockages, ensuring the safety of both the user and the equipment.

The unit is also easy to maintain, with a maintenance-free motor and wear-resistant components. The dispersion head is easy to insert thanks to a spring system and is securely fastened with a knurled screw. For operations involving pathogenic substances, the device must be used in suitable enclosures or hoods. Regular maintenance, as recommended by IKA, ensures maximum service life for the equipment.

Designed for laboratory environments, the T 25 digital ULTRA-TURRAX is ideal for industrial or academic installations requiring high dispersion precision. Its compact and robust design (87 x 106 x 271 mm, weighing 2.5 kg) makes it easy to integrate into workbenches while withstanding mechanical and thermal stress.
