Mindray TE9: a state-of-the-art ultrasound scanner for optimised critical care
Mindray's TE9 is an ultrasound system specially designed to meet the demands of anaesthesia, intensive care and emergency environments. It combines high-precision imaging capabilities, intuitive touchscreen interface and intelligent analysis tools to provide clear and reliable clinical information, enabling fast and effective decision-making.
With its 21.5-inch high-definition touchscreen, the TE9 offers exceptional visibility of anatomical structures, even in complex clinical situations. This superior image quality, combined with state-of-the-art transducer technology, enables accurate diagnoses in less time. Clinicians can enjoy a clear, detailed view from anywhere in the examination room.
The TE9 incorporates automation tools that make exams easier and faster. These features include Smart IVC (inferior vena cava assessment), Smart VTI (velocity time integration), Smart B-Line (lung assessment), Auto GA (gastric antrum analysis) and Smart FHR OB1 (first trimester foetal heart rate). These features increase efficiency, reduce variability in results and contribute to better reproducibility of examinations.
The ergonomic and innovative design of the TE9 has been developed to ensure complete disinfection in accordance with strict international standards. The system features a seamless, non-porous screen that prevents the accumulation of residues and stops disinfectants from seeping into the device. An automatic screen lock function for ten seconds allows for safe cleaning without the risk of interruption. In addition, Z-tracking technology provides complete traceability of transducers, recording their use and associated sterilisation procedures.
The TE9 also stands out for its ability to improve safety and personalisation of care. eSpacial Navi technology offers 4D magnetic needle navigation, providing optimal visualisation during interventional procedures. Combined with the iNeedle feature, which increases needle visibility even in difficult angles, it helps reduce the risk of tissue damage and boosts clinical confidence.
Connectivity is another strong point of the TE9. Thanks to the eGateway solution, the device integrates easily into the hospital network, enabling secure access to patient data and direct transmission of images and reports to the electronic patient record (EPR). This paperless approach optimises workflow and reduces transcription errors.
The TE9 is equipped with practical features such as three transducer connectors for different types of examinations, a built-in battery providing up to two hours of battery life, and cable management designed to prevent damage and contamination risks.
