TEX20: Bedside ultrasound, redesigned for greater accuracy, fluidity and efficiency
Mindray's TEX20 ultrasound scanner marks a major advance in bedside medical imaging. Designed to meet the demands of emergency, resuscitation and intensive care departments, it combines high image quality, seamless integration of physiological data and an ergonomic interface that facilitates daily clinical work.
The ZST+ (Zone Sonography Technology) platform at the heart of the TEX20 guarantees remarkable image clarity, even in technically challenging patients. By fully exploiting the potential of single-crystal transducers, Mindray's 3T technology enables better tissue penetration and superior resolution, providing enhanced clinical confidence. This performance is complemented by broad compatibility with different transducer types, ranging from classic convex and linear transducers to endocavitary, transoesophageal (ETO) and even the latest generation of wireless transducers. These wireless probes, which are IP68 waterproof, offer unrivalled freedom of movement and can be connected to both the TEX20 and compatible mobile devices. Lightweight and easy to disinfect by immersion, they facilitate imaging in the most demanding hospital environments.
X-Link technology is a game-changer in clinical coordination. By aggregating physiological information such as ultrasound images, ECG or respiratory signals, it provides a real-time overview of the patient's condition. Thanks to the Physio-View display, physiological tracings can be superimposed on the ultrasound image, facilitating immediate decision-making. The U-View display centralises all data on the workstation for global visibility, promoting multidisciplinary collaboration and multimodal clinical research.
The X-Pilot module automatically structures examinations according to international clinical guidelines. It combines medical history, imaging results and multi-organ data to produce concise, clear and actionable reports. This saves considerable time and improves the quality of clinical decisions. Several specialised applications are integrated, including for the assessment of shock according to RUSH, FALLS and GDE protocols, the analysis of respiratory distress using the BLUE protocol, and the detection of chest, abdominal or pelvic effusions in FAST and eFAST examinations.
The TEX20 is designed for efficiency. Its 23.8-inch HD touchscreen can be rotated to landscape or portrait mode to suit any clinical scenario. The user interface is sealed and water-resistant, making disinfection procedures easier. The device includes four active probe connectors and offers features such as iVocal Plus voice commands for hands-free operation. For mobility, the TEX20 offers optimised storage with a wireless charging station, a lockable basket, an integrated wipe holder and a retractable power cord to reduce the risk of tripping or contamination.
The Mindray TEX20 is much more than just an ultrasound scanner: it is an intelligent, reliable and scalable platform designed to improve the responsiveness, safety and accuracy of bedside care.
