LAUDA C 12 CP Compact Thermostat – Precision and safety for your thermal applications
The LAUDA C 12 CP is a compact circulation thermostat designed to meet the most stringent temperature control requirements in laboratories, industrial environments and medical applications. With its wide temperature range from -30 °C to +300 °C, it is suitable for a wide variety of scenarios, from scientific research to pharmaceutical production.
This model stands out for its exceptional accuracy, with a temperature stability of ±0.01 °C at 70 °C. It is equipped with a digital PID controller with self-adaptation, enabling fine and responsive control. The user can choose between internal control (bath temperature) or external control (via Pt100 sensors), making the device extremely flexible.
The C 12 CP has a backlit two-line LCD display that shows the actual temperature and the setpoint simultaneously. Its 16-key membrane keypad allows intuitive navigation through the menus and quick access to control, safety and programming parameters.
In terms of safety, the thermostat incorporates an adjustable overheating limiter, a low level sensor with automatic shut-off, and a pump motor monitoring system. These devices ensure reliable operation, even in the event of a fault or extreme conditions.
The integrated centrifugal pump delivers a flow rate of 20 l/min (delivery) and 16 l/min (suction), enabling efficient circulation of the heat transfer fluid in closed circuits or open baths. The C 12 CP can be used with softened water, water/glycol mixtures or silicone oils, depending on the thermal requirements.
Its stainless steel tank with a capacity of 9 to 14 litres is designed for maximum durability and compatibility with a wide range of liquids. The unit is also equipped with a cooling coil for applications close to ambient temperature, with the option of connecting to an external cooler.
The C 12 CP complies with CE and DIN 58966 standards and can be integrated into automated systems via its RS232 interface or analogue outputs. It is also compatible with a time programmer and a remote control module (optional) for even more precise management of thermal cycles.
