Agilent G1330B Automatic Sampler Thermostat
The Agilent G1330B automatic sampler thermostat is a high-precision thermal control module designed to improve the stability and quality of chromatographic analyses. Integrated into Agilent's 1200 series HPLC system, it controls the temperature of samples in the automatic sampler, ensuring optimal temperature management from 4 to 40°C according to analytical requirements.
At the heart of the system is Peltier technology, a thermal control method that allows both heating and cooling, according to user-defined conditions. This technology is based on thermoelectric elements capable of efficiently exchanging heat while maintaining low energy consumption. Once the device is activated, a fan draws air from the sample tray area and circulates it through the fins of the thermal module, allowing for rapid and efficient temperature homogenisation throughout the compartment.
Thanks to an ingenious design, the conditioned air circulates evenly under the sample tray via specially designed channels. This system ensures a stable thermal environment, regardless of the number of vials in the rack. The G1330B thus ensures consistent temperature even during prolonged analytical cycles or under variable ambient conditions. In cooling mode, any condensation generated is safely removed via an integrated drainage system.
The device is designed to work with different types of racks: 100 x 1.8 mL vials, two well plates or a mixed combination. It is fully integrated with Agilent G1329A, G1389A, G1367A and G2260A samplers, thanks to a direct connection that allows the modules to be synchronised. It has multiple electrical connections: GPIB, CAN, RS-232 and REMOTE, for full integration into automated analytical systems.
Robust and compact, the G1330B is designed for the most demanding laboratory environments, operating in an ambient temperature range of 4 to 55°C. Its ventilated housing provides efficient heat dissipation, ensured by four fans that automatically adjust their speed according to the internal temperature.
The G1330B is easy to install thanks to detailed guides, supplied connection cables and direct compatibility with Agilent ChemStation software or 1200 series control modules. It also complies with international safety standards (IEC, CSA, UL), ensuring safe use in the laboratory.
