It supports a wide range of applications including incubation, dissolution, cell culture, enzymatic assays, and sample temperature maintenance.
The unit provides temperature control from 5 °C above ambient to 99 °C, with a precision of ±0.2 °C in accordance with DIN 12876 standards. The integrated heating system, combined with a sample protection thermostat, ensures reliable and safe thermal regulation. For high-temperature operations, the use of the supplied lid is recommended to minimize evaporation and optimize thermal efficiency.
Agitation is achieved through a platform driven by a magnetic motor located beneath the tank, ensuring optimal homogeneity. The shaking speed is adjustable from 40 to 400 movements per minute, with a gradual ramp-up to prevent sudden jolts or mechanical blocking. The bath can also be used without agitation by removing the platform and magnet, effectively converting it into a standard thermostatic water bath.
Settings are managed via an intuitive digital control panel, allowing precise adjustments of temperature, shaking speed, timer, and access to predefined programs. Up to two preset configurations can be stored, saving time during frequent procedures.
The bath also features single- or dual-point calibration, enabling display adjustment based on real-time measurements using a reference thermometer. Safety is enhanced with a control panel lock function to prevent accidental parameter changes.
Maintenance is simplified thanks to an integrated drain tap. The tank is made of 304 stainless steel, a material known for its corrosion and heat resistance. It is recommended to use distilled or deionized water without salt-based rinse agents to preserve the bath’s longevity and prevent buildup or corrosion.
