Contactless NT-1e tonometer that uses an air puff to measure intraocular pressure (IOP). The NT-1e tonometer models are fully automated, managing the measurement independently from start to finish, without requiring operator intervention.
The NT-1e represents a major advancement in contactless tonometers, distinguishing itself with complete automation of the measurement process. A product of NIDEK's technological expertise, this new model combines automation, user-friendliness, and ergonomic features to ensure an optimal clinical examination while providing increased patient comfort.
With a large tilting and swiveling screen, the NT-1e offers great installation flexibility, allowing easy adaptation to different situations and the specific needs of patients and clinics.
The measurement of corrected intraocular pressure is achieved using air-puff tonometer technology, which assesses the force needed to deform the eye and deduces the pressure.
Emphasizing patient comfort, the NT-1e integrates APC (Automatic Puff Control) technology. This function automatically adjusts the air puff's power based on the patient's intraocular pressure, ensuring a gentle measurement, optimizing comfort, and reducing noise.
