TP05 i: a Class IIa Medical Device for Physiotherapy and angiology
The TP05 i from Eureduc is a venous and lymphatic drainage device designed for healthcare professionals working in the fields of physiotherapy, angiology, phlebology and sports medicine. Classified as Class IIa according to European regulations, it meets strict safety and efficacy requirements for the therapeutic management of circulatory disorders. Its action is based on sequential compression, a technique recognised for promoting venous and lymphatic return, reducing swelling and improving patients' functional comfort. It is indicated for the treatment of limb oedema, the prevention of thrombosis, the management of the sequelae of phlebitis, and for relieving the sensation of heavy legs. The TP05 i is also used in post-surgical recovery protocols and in certain body remodelling programmes.
Patented Technology and Precise Settings
At the heart of the device is the patented Double Gradient Automatic Pressure (D.G.A.P.) system, which ensures optimal and gradual pressure distribution between the different compartments of the accessories. This approach reproduces physiological drainage, reducing the risk of discomfort or excessive pressure. The TP05 i offers 9 pre-set programmes for quick and standardised use, as well as 3 customisable programmes allowing the practitioner to adapt the treatment to the specific needs of the patient. The pressure is adjustable from 20 to 150 mBar (15 to 112 mmHg) and the treatment time can be up to 60 minutes, offering great therapeutic flexibility. The working and rest times, which can be adjusted up to 60 seconds each, complete the customisation of the treatment. This precision in parameter control contributes to optimal results for medical indications or physical recovery.
Ease of Use and Versatility in Medical Practices
With its compact dimensions (37 × 33 × 18 cm) and low weight of 9 kg, the TP05 i can be easily installed in any medical or paramedical environment. Its low noise level (49 to 52 dB) allows sessions to be carried out in a calm and pleasant setting, which is beneficial for patient relaxation. The accessories – sleeves, boots, hip pads and abdominal belts – have five heat-sealed compartments ensuring uniform and airtight inflation. Two rows of outlets allow one or two elements to be treated simultaneously, optimising the practitioner's working time. The numbered tubes facilitate connection and reduce the risk of error. Its robustness and ease of use make it a reliable tool for private practices, rehabilitation centres and specialised sports facilities.
