TS8510 Benchtop Spectrophotometer: precision and reliability for industrial and laboratory applications
The TS8510 from 3nh is a benchtop spectrophotometer that combines precision, speed and ergonomics to meet the quality control requirements of a wide range of industries, including plastics, electronics, printing, inks, ceramics and textiles. This model is based on a dual-array CMOS sensor capable of capturing a wide spectral range from 360 nm to 780 nm, while ensuring excellent repeatability and optimal data stability.
Equipped with an independent, rotatable 10.5-inch touchscreen, the TS8510 allows intuitive and smooth interaction with the various measurement functions. The user can view the measurement area in real time thanks to an on-board camera, ensuring precise positioning and reducing the risk of errors. Automatic gauge change between 25.4 mm, 15 mm, 8 mm and 4 mm optimises flexibility of use depending on the size or nature of the samples, whether they are flat, curved or small.
The TS8510 stands out for its ability to perform SCI (specular reflection included) and SCE (specular reflection excluded) measurements simultaneously, with a response time of approximately 2 seconds. This dual measurement enhances colour analysis from different viewing angles. Thanks to its automatic temperature and humidity compensation system, reliable results are guaranteed regardless of ambient conditions.
In terms of performance, the repeatability of the colour value is exceptional with ΔEab ≤ 0.015, and the inter-instrument difference is controlled to ΔEab ≤ 0.15. The TS8510 is compatible with more than 40 international colour index standards (CIE, ASTM, ISO, DIN, JIS) and offers a wide choice of 41 illuminants, including D65, A, F2 and LED, to adapt to various colour evaluation standards.
Designed to support reflection and transmission measurements (up to 54 mm thick for transmissive samples), it is also suitable for haze measurements according to ASTM D1003. USB and Bluetooth® connectivity facilitates data export and management via the SQCX quality software, available for Windows and mobile devices.
The robustness of the TS8510 spectrophotometer, combined with its storage capacity of over 100,000 measurements, its longevity of over 3 million tests over 5 years, and its multilingual support, make it an ideal solution for demanding environments seeking precision and efficiency in colour management.
